Beautiful Doors and Windows, expertly-installed into our high quality frames.

We make the openings, so we know exactly how to fill them.

Doors and windows play a critical role in the performance, buildability and appearance of timber frame buildings. When coordinated correctly, they deliver airtightness, thermal continuity and clean installation tolerances. When treated as a late-stage trade package, they introduce risk, delay and avoidable cost.

Our doors and windows packages are developed to integrate seamlessly with the timber frame structure, ensuring openings, interfaces and tolerances are resolved early and delivered with confidence.

Why add Doors & Windows to your frame package?

What we deliver:

Designed with Timber Frame in mind.

Door and window performance is defined by how well openings are designed into the structure.

By coordinating doors and windows alongside the timber frame, we ensure:

The end result?

Less time correcting,

more time completing.

Airtightness, Thermal Performance & Comfort.
For a pleasant home.

Doors and windows are one of the most sensitive interfaces in an airtight building envelope, it’s vital they are installed correctly with proper attention to timber frame detailing and regulations.

Our co-ordinated, umbrella approach provides:

Passivhaus? We've got you.

High-performance doors and windows are fundamental to Passivhaus and low-energy building standards.

We deliver doors and windows as a critical component of the building envelope – it needs to be right. We focus on a system first, and install to the high level of quality that novo timber is known for.

When to appoint us?

Earlier involvement brings better outcomes. The earlier we can co-ordinate with your wider design team, the more proactive and less reactive that co-ordination will be.

The Optimal Stage.

Door and window strategy is developed alongside the timber frame layout. Structural openings, tolerances and load paths are coordinated early. Airtightness and thermal detailing are resolved by design. This delivers the best technical and commercial outcome..

Not optimal, not risk-free.

Openings are being finalised as part of the frame design. Door and window specifications can still be coordinated effectively. Some optimisation is lost, but performance remains strong. Early coordination is still recommended.

Highest risk.

The timber frame design is largely fixed. Opening sizes and tolerances are constrained. Additional coordination time and cost are likely. Installation risk increases.
